Isn't it great when you find something that you're not really looking for, especially when that something is super awesome. Like a super awesome friend.
Not too long ago I met a new friend, Shannon through blogging (she was the one that knew my step-sister in real life and through her we had met through blogging somehow...crazy.) Anyway, she is definitely super awesome. She has a daughter who is almost exactly Alexa's age and twins (boy and girl) who are just a little bit younger than Braden. Perfect? I think so. The girls get along so well (which is a huge relief considering that doesn't happen all the time.) It gets a little crazy with the five kids all together but it's so fun. And to top the whole thing off Shannon and I get along great too, it's so nice to have another young Mama who understands you and can sit and chat for hours even over the sound of 5 little kids yelling. She's super cool and is pretty much my new best friend...whether she likes it or not. :)
Here are her twins, are they not so adorable!?

looks like a fun time! It's amazing how God works! You blog looks great! It's great when our kids get along with our friends children. It's tricky for us because our girls are older than any of our friends kids, they all get along great, but which L had someone her age when we all get together.
I bet that was a blast for everyone. I hope to one day meet some of my blogger friends in real life :)
very cool! your bottle comment made me laugh! jude never took a bottle either! i'm also noticing (since you pointed it out in your last post) how tall A is compared to her friend who's the same age.
looks like lots of fun was had!
laura - you just commented on my blog while i commented on yours! when i heard the "ding" of my email, i had a feeling it was a comment from you! we're on the same wavelength, girl!
LAURA! this is so ridiculously cute! i am so super glad that we met *and* that our kiddies get along so well, too! oh and i *do* like being your new best friend, because you're mine, too! mk was showing nate the umpa lumpa dance tonight but she kept asking where alexa was, her "dance friend." so cute! you guys rock. for reals.
So cute! The girls look like little twiners themselves!
It's so nice to have a bff to hang with isn't it?!
It is so exciting to see your children make friends. I think I get more excited for Aidyn when he has a play date than I do when I get to visit with friends!! :)The girls both have the longest prettiest hair. So cute!
How fun! I wish i lived closer! My son loves the old charley and the chocolate factory! Hints the Oopma Loompa costume last year..LOL..
Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comments about my kiddos.
Just reading the numbers in your last post I didn't realize just how tall your daughter really is. How fun to have a house full of friends.
Did ya all play any bejeweled blitz??? I'm so addicted to that stinkin game.
ALL of your kids are amazingly precious. It was like a Gap Kids casting call or something!!
Love that you have such wonderful and thoughtful and funny friends! You are so blessed!!
Amanda
