Here's we are waiting for the doc to come see us. Thank goodness for cherry flavored sticks to keep a boy happy.
Braden's 15 month stats:
Height: 32 inches - 77 percentile
Weight: 28.5 pounds - 91 percentile
Head Circ: 19.75 - 98 percentile
My solid boy with lots of brains. :)
The shots went well and he didn't even shed a tear. Even though he didn't cry, he definitely wasn't happy about the situation. He yelled at the nurse a little bit and then ripped the band aids off...like he was trying to prove a point or something.
Then down to the lab we went. Last time we did this (with Alexa) they just pricked her finger and squeezed some blood out so I was a little surprised when they brought him in a room to lay him on a bed with a tray of a bunch of stuff on it. Apparently they changed how they did this and now they take blood from the arm. With a needle. Obviously. I asked the girl if I could leave the room and she told me that they needed me to help hold him down (even though there was 2 of them in there.) I told her I couldn't do that and she said "We're busy back here." (With a smile I might add!) And I was thinking, 'Really, I couldn't tell from the 20 minute wait.' UGH So there I was pinning my baby down so they could get blood. He was such a trooper and once again barely cried. He even gave her a smile as we were walking out the door. Much more forgiving then this Mommy is. :)

i *cannot* believe that he is so tough! i hate hate hate taking the kids too, because i cry WAY more than they ever do. ;)
he is so stinkin' cute.
He is adorable and what a good little guy. Love his chubbies. Those sticks must be awesome.
He is so cute. I love that new walk waddle. There's nothing sweeter.
You did a great job with him having his blood drawn! Aidyn freaked out when he had his done and I completely lost it. The nurses were actually asking ME if I was okay. Ugh!
He is so cute for sure!
BTW all my kids are in the 90th or even have been off the chart (Karley) for measurements! I like having big babies! Plus...when they stick those shots in....there's a little cushion!! :)
Have a great weekend!
Glad you're out of your funk!

He is so adorable!
My youngest just turned 15 months and I am loving this age! He loves to walk everywhere now and is trying to run to keep up with his brothers. I want to keep him at this age forever!
Yes indeedy - that's a lotta brains there!
I know what you mean about the shots...Sounds like he had a GREAT checkup.
UGH to intervenous blood draws. The girls had them at 9 months to check hemoglobin, they did not handle them so well, but there papa was there to handle it.
This post reminded me that I need to schedule their 12 month appointments.
My son has been off the chart for his noggin since birth, I agree lots of brains.
So handsome! i'm glad the doctor went okay. I'm one of those that can't leave and has to hold them for all their shot but I understand also how difficult it is to watch and see them in pain.
