This and That

Still no baby.
I had a doctors appointment yesterday though and things look good.  Baby is still head down, SO happy to hear that!  I am at a "good 2" and the head is "right there" - which basically doesn't mean much, but I guess it's some progress so I'll take it.  I was kind of hoping for a 5 but beggers can't be choosers, right!?
(Sorry, probably TMI but for all the people who keep calling and emailing...there's the info.) :)
So now we just wait and see what happens.
Until then I am going to enjoy my last few days/weeks of being a Mommy of these two...

Braden has been sick the past few days.  Not sure what exactly is going on...runny nose, cough, fever and just run down and tired.  He has been getting all his molars in the past few weeks so maybe it has something to do with that.  I told him he needs to get better before the baby comes and he said, "yeah, no coughing on the baby." :)  Last night he crawled up on my lap and fell asleep.  As much as it sucks seeing your kids sick I have to admit I loved having him sleeping curled up with me.

Alexa is as busy as ever.  She is finishing her last day of swim lessons this week and then we are going to take a little break until the baby is here and settled.  I took her to Junior Kindergarten round-up last week.  We got all her paper work filled out and met with some of the teachers and she is now all ready for school in the Fall.  I can't believe she is already going to school and will be gone every day!  I am excited for her because she is so excited about it but I am also sad she is growing up so fast.  She is going to do so well though and I know she will love it!

Potty training update: Nothing to report.
Although like I said before we aren't even really trying right now since he isn't interested at all and with the baby coming anytime it's just not a good time to start.  Apparently though it looks like Alexa has been more successful than we have because she got him to wear his big boy underwear the other day. :)

Day 27

(This is what happens when your personal stylist is your 4 year old sister.)

Day 28

Day 29

I kinda agree with you on the potty training. It's probably best to hold off for a bit. I hope the baby comes along soon now, but snuggle those two angels one in each arm while you can! :)

Are you just showing us the two outfits to fool us, or do you really not know the gender??? ;-)

Cute 1st pic, they are adorable! Glad everything is going well. Take care and get some rest.

Look at those cuties. :) I love how they are all snuggled together.

Oh, I can't wait to see which onsie the baby has on. :)

Cute pictures! I know what you mean about the clothing choices...my boys have been dressing themselves lately (which is fine with me, less work!), however, sometimes the clothes they pick are....well....don't really go together! They obviously have their daddy's sense of style ;)

I hope Braden starts to feel better....it would suck to have a sick baby when the new baby comes :(

Alexa is going to be such a good big sister...she will have Braden and the new baby potty trained in no time lol!

I am so excited about the new baby....keep us posted!!! I am following along on Twitter too :)

I hate this part of pregnancy. You know, the waiting. Every time you pee a little (admit it, you do it) you think your water broke... I hate that time. Good luck!
Potty training. Not a fun time. I am working on it right now as well. But I think you should hold off as well because (I have heard) there is a bit of regression anyway.
But his stylist is HOT! He is rockin that outfit. :)

Ah, potty training will come when it needs to come...no sense stressing yourself out over it. :) And, you've got something there - recruit Alexa's help on it! ;)

I know a 2 seems disappointing...but hang in there (like you have a choice?)...we'll just keep checking back and rootin' for you!

Hope your boy is feeling better. Those teeth are a bummer. I have been thinking of you.

So fun to look at these pictures after you've had the baby.....

And really, that first picture is so cute!
