Beach Bums

Today we went to the beach with our neighbors. And although the sunscreen, Braden eating sand, and a dirty lunch were all slightly annoying it was all worth it when Alexa said "I had so much fun at the beach today!" as we were walking to the car. Fun indeed, her and Svea played like crazy.

It took Braden all of about 5 seconds into the day to shove his first fist full of sand in his mouth, mix that with chubby little sunscreen covered hands and he was a mess. However, he loved the beach too. He had no problems crawling right on into the the lake.

Alexa and Daddy made sand castles.

This is a horrible picture of me but I had to add it because this is what I'm always talking about, you take your eye off Braden for a second and he's going to try eating something...like a rock.

No worries, I caught him before he chewed on it too long!
