Girls Day

Yesterday my Mom, Alexa and I had a Girls Day and we had SO much fun!  A day of pampering, chatting, shopping and all things girly.  It was such a blast watching Alexa get so excited about everything all day long.  I love having a little girl to do these things with!

Our first stop was for manis and pedis.  Alexa acted like she had done this a million times before, it was so cute.  She loved the little chair just for her and got to watch Tinkerbell while she was pampered.

Next we ran to the mall and then to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, picked by Alexa.  Daddy was so proud! :)

After that we went to Claire's and Alexa got her ears pierced!
I could not believe how good she did and how brave she was.  As we got closer and closer I was almost trying to talk her out of it because I was scared it was going to hurt her or she was going to cry.  But she was determined and didn't hesitate getting them done at all.  I was the only one who was almost crying.  Once the lady was ready I moved back and covered my face and then heard the click of the first one followed by Alexa's giggles.  Yes, she giggled!  So they finished the other side quick and that was that.  She came running over to me and and with the cutest little happy voice said, "Mom, my ears are pierced!!"  She has been showing everyone we have seen since her new PINK earrings.  She loves them!

After being so brave we celebrated with ice cream and some more shopping.  I'm pretty sure my Mom and I were more tired after the day than Alexa was, such a little trooper!

What a fun day, we can't wait to do it again!

I was just saying to my mom the other day, "how can they have energy after all our running around?" Her reply was short and to the point, "Because they're kids!" hahaha. Alexa is so cute. Looks like she had a total blast. Lucky girl.

How cute are those toes! And I can't believe she didn't cry about her ears. I was 7, no wait...9, before I had mine pierced. You're teaching her young! ;) So fun. Makes me look forward to that with Addyson.

Bridgette got her ears pierced last year at that same Claires in Woodbury and had ice cream afterwards. Funny!

Every time you post a picture of your mom it looks like a picture of your sister - she looks so young! I'll bet she gets that a lot.

Ahhh she got her ears pierced!! Did you cry? I got all teary eyed after Madison was done. Of course she either is allergic to gold or her body rejected them because they are now out. Bummer. I feel so bad.

What a great day!! I love the nail place!! I wish there was one near us like that!! Such a good idea!
