Has everyone seen this story? Crazy!
An Indonesia woman named Ani gave birth to 19.2-lb baby yesterday in Medan, North Sumatra. The boy, Muhammad Akbar Risuddin, is among the heaviest babies ever delivered who survived. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he was delivered by Caesarean section.
A gynecologist
"This heavy baby made the surgery really tough, especially the process of taking him out of his (mother's) womb. His legs were so big," Binsar Sitanggang said.
The boy is said to be healthy despite having to initially be given oxygen to overcome breathing problems.
Sitanggang described the baby as "extraordinary" in almost every way.
"He's got a strong appetite, every minute, it's almost nonstop feeding," he said. "This baby boy is extraordinary, the way he's crying is not like a usual baby. It's really loud.

I was just reading this story earlier today. My husband didn't believe me it was real!
Honestly, I think I would be a little sad if that happened to me. Its like you would miss the whole "sweet precious vulnerable tiny helpless fragile" baby stage and head right into toddler-dom.
And thank GOD for C-sects. That could have been so much worse!
Hope you are having a blessed night!
Did you get any great pics from the playdate? You should so post them!!
Blessings-
Amanda
OMGosh that would be so painful to carry that baby around at 19 pounds. She must have been miserable during her last stages of pregnancy. OUCH. & I thought 9.4 was a big baby. Thanks for taking it easy on my Stunt Man. WOW again!
i was JUST reading about this! HOLY CRAP! the babes' weight combined was 12 lbs 11 ounces and i thought i was going to collapse, daily. i cannot even imagine 19 pounds. OUCH.
No I hadn't heard. And Wow. And that's all I have to say about that.
Did you all have a good week? I hope you get to enjoy some time with Matt this weekend. I always hate the first few weeks of adjusting. Praying for you. :)
YIKES...I can't imagine this. Guess there will be no cute newborn outfits for this guy. Hey, thanks for stopping by again, I'll post the crust recipe. It's super easy and YUMMY...
I DID read that! He is so cute though! How did that mom carry a baby that big...???
I just blogged about that, too! I can't even imagine that. At least she probably doesn't have much pregnancy weight to lose :)
