This and That

Thank you to everyone who commented on cutting Alexa's hair!  I have decided that I am just going to get it trimmed until she can pick what she wants to do with it.  Besides I think I would be too traumatized to cut off all her soft gorgeous hair, no matter how frustrating it can be to comb through.  Just kidding, but seriously it's nothing a little conditioner and some pony tails can't get us through. :)

It's been almost a month since Braden has nursed...it feels like forever.  Part of me still misses that time.  Now if only I could bring myself to stop wearing all the nursing bras and tanks.  Apparently after wearing them for almost 3 1/2 years straight it's kind of hard to break the habit.  I guess it's time for me to go on a little shopping spree for some new ones. :)

We have recently found out that we are going to have a new niece or nephew!  We are super excited...yay for babies! :)  I'm hoping for a boy since they already have a little girl, but either way there will be a new little bundle of joy in the family this winter.

Here are a couple pictures of Braden and Piper from the Easter Egg Hunt at our friends house.  I told you they were best buds all day. :)  So cute!  Thank you Holly for taking these pictures!

It has been cooler this week but next week we are suppose to get back into the 70s.  Woohoo!  We have been spending lots of time getting outside, walking, going to the park, playing on the swing set and having picnics...I love this time of the year!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!  Anyone doing anything exciting?

Good choice on the hair cutting. Do it when she and you are ready! Cute pics of Braden and Piper. Maybe you need to get the kids a puppy of their own?!?

I threatened to cut my daughters forever until she finally decided to do it on her own at around age 9. Her hair was aaaall the way down her back, though so it was a super dramatic cut. I should post pics of how beautiful her hair used to be. =(

Love the pics! How old is Braden? Kaitlan is 18 months and still nursing. I've been wondering how hard it would be to wean her, though. *double sad face*

No more cool weather for us :(

I have a personal question...are you totally dried up now after being done nursing? Every now and then, I will still have a drop come out. TMI?

Your kids are so darn cute! I love Braden with the dog. Boys and dogs just go together. :)
Yay for Alexa's hair. It is beautiful.

I'm laughing at Arizona mamma's comment. She cracks me up.

I think you are making the right choice on her hair. But that comes from a mommy who has a daughter who has never had a real haircut and has hair shorter than her 15 month old brother! he he

No plans for the weekend. We all have colds and I have felt like puking all day! How's that for TMI!

It has been super chilly and rainy here. Ready for that spring weather to come back. Cute pictures of Braden and the doggie. Adorable.
I think that is a good choice about her hair. she will be wanting her own styles soon enough and if she has long hair the possibilities will be endless.

Letting her have control of her hair is a good thing. I always let my girls do what they want--within reason of course. I do this with the hope that they will never want to dye it green, or shave it off ala Britney! Anyway...good choice.

Our excitement is we finally got our income tax money. We already spent some of it! LOL

Awww, those pictures are too cute! Nothing sweeter than kids with animals. Congratulations on becoming an aunt again! That is almost as exciting as having one yourself!

new babies are so exciting! Congrats on becoming and aunt again and congrats to the parents to be!

I don't blame you for not wanting to get rid of the nursing tanks. those things are so comfy. I am actually looking forward to wearing mine again. :)
