Five Question Friday

It's Friday!!
I love Fridays.
I really wish there could be more Fridays during the week, wouldn't that be great!?
Also, thanks for all the great comments on my last post...it was awesome to come back to all the love! :)
Make sure to check out Mama M's blog if you want to join in on Five Question Friday.

1.
How much time do you spend on the computer a day?
Hmmm, I don't even know. I don't usually spend a large amount of time at once on the computer but I do pop on a lot and check my email and twitter throughout the day. I have been cutting way back on computer time lately though...I don't want my kids to see me on it all the time, so my goal is to get everything done that I want to during nap time and after they go to bed.

2. Will you pay for your children's college or raise them to pay for their own way?
I would love to be able to pay for our kids schooling but we probably won't, at least not all of it.
I think kids work a lot harder when they are paying for it themselves. However we will be helping them big time in other ways like insurance, rent, food etc. My parents helped me out but I also worked a lot while I went to school and my grades really suffered because of it. I will make sure our children will be able to concentrate on what they are there to do. Until then I have my fingers crossed for some scholarships! :)

3. Have you ever been in a car accident?
Yeah, but nothing major. I remember the very first day it snowed after I got my license I drove right into the ditch, yeah that was embarrassing...what makes it even worse is it was one of those snows that was melted by the time we were out of school. Oh yeah, also one time I was rear ended and the guy was mad because I had stopped for the pedestrian. Are you kidding me? He was so lucky my kids weren't in the car!

4. What is your favorite book?
Here's the deal, I haven't read anything besides Dora or board books in like 3 years. Which is kinda too bad because I really do love reading, once I open a book I don't usually put it down until I am done...it's just picking it up that's the hard part. One of these days I will start reading again, until then Little Critter books it is. I'll copy Mama M and say that a couple of my favorite kids books are: Love You Forever, I Love You Through and Through, Goodnight Moon and The Giving Tree.

5. Do you make your bed everyday?
Ummm, no. Kinda weird considering I have to have the inside of my refrigerator spotless with everything facing out. I don't get it either.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! :)

I'm the same too when it comes to making the bed...it should be the first thing to do when I wake up but I leave it to do something else! LoL

OMG...and I thought there was no one else more anal about their fridge than my grandma!!

That's hilarious!

But, I'm glad to know you're at least "kinda" normal, with the whole unmade bed thing!! ;)

Have an awesome weekend!

So proud of you for cutting back on your computer time - you inspired me to do the same :-)

FYI...you're pretty great.

I was like you and didn't get to read for the longest time. Now, before bed, I read something for ME! I love it!

You have a beautiful family. I am visiting via Friday Follow. I hope you can stop by and see me.

My computer time is through out the day. My kids don't take naps anymore so I grab time whenever I can.

Our kids will have to get student loans or scholarships.

Yes, I have been in two accidents. neither were my fault. One was pretty minor the other required having the front grill being completely replaced.

Favorite Book....yeah...mine are mostly kid books too. LOL

Make the bed??? no..and my fridge...well my fridge would make you cry. :p

When I was pregnant with Kobe (36 weeks) we were rear ended by a woman who got out of the car and screamed at Dewayne because he stopped for a pedestrian in a parking lot. When I heard her I got out of the car and she saw my big belly...she shut up and gave us her insurance info then LOL. I was really upset though, we were driving in a parking lot and she slammed into us. We were only doing about 5-10 mph before she hit us, it didn't make sense that she was able to hit us that hard. Everyone was okay though and Kobe stayed in a few more weeks :o)

Have a great weekend!!

Wanna come clean my fridge. You would be horrified if you saw it! However it fit, it fits! I'm with ya on the books too. I used to love to read but now the only thing I read other than kids books are gossip magazines (and that is more about looking a the pictures than reading! HA!!

Just bought a new bed set today, complete with all the matchy matchy euro and throw pillows. Probably, this is the one and only day the bed will be made the way it's supposed to be. Tomorrow everything will wind up in a pile on the floor. But I do make the kids help make their beds everyday, does that count?

No luck with the dang squirrels, they run off every time I head outside. Dang them for being smart.

I don't get the whole making the bed thing. I agree with you on the college thing.

That is a funny little tidbit about your bed making...I feel soo weird if my bed is unmade, or I go upstairs and see it unmade and then I am mad!!

You are the WINNER!!! Select your strap and send me your address to tarah.fenn@gmail.com!

Congrats!!!

I love the last answer. SO hilarious. Funny, isn't it, what we pick to be OCD about. :)
It's so good to see you back! I have to go check out your last post too. :)

Love You Forever - doesn't matter what age you are - great book!!!!

Good for you on the computer time thing - I really want to get better at that. Not even for my kids (they're gone a good chunk of the day), but in order to get a lot more of my other stuff done. I need to set an amount of time and stick to it!

That was a really good question.

I know, I haven't read a book in forever either!

BTW, I love "Over the Rainbow" song that's playing right now!

I'll admit I've never heard of someone that was that picky about their fridge :)

I'd love for mine to stay spotless though!
